4 Stars= Great Page Turner

In The Hunting by Kerry Peresta readers are introduced to Isabelle Lewis, a single mother who juggles being a parent and advertisement sales representative for a newspaper. Isabelle’s has given up on ever having a real committed relationship since her previous marriage did not work. After awhile Isabelle decides she will give it one more try and soon finds an online dating service that has the type a man she is looking for.

Isabelle becomes obsessed with this online service while dealing with her life and work challenges. When Isabelle finally meets a man from her searches, she believes it could work out. However, Isabelle’s mystery man turns out to be more than she bargained for and Isabelle soon finds herself in the middle of a lot of foolishness and having to face her problems head on.

What I didn’t like: The book didn’t catch my attention in the first four chapters but evidently picked up.

What I liked: Overall this book was entertaining, interesting and had just enough drama but also included a little bit of humor. The author does a wonderful capturing the Isabelle character so that readers can relate and appreciate what she goes through in the book. I recommend The Hunting to others.
