Olivia Morris tries to keep her salon and its employees together in BeJeweled by Chelle Ramsey. Since the death of her mother, Olivia Morris has taken over the salon, BeJeweled, and all that comes with it. Olivia realizes she has taken on more than she cares to admit especially with the drama between employees. Olivia tries to be the peacemaker because she cares for her employees as if they are her own family. On the other hand, while Olivia is trying to be the mediator for her employees, she also has her own dilemma, such as a handsome man from her past.

In this first book of the series the focus is on Angel, a stylist at Bejeweled who is going through many ups and downs. Angel is married with a son trying to keep her marriage intact. Angel finds out some disturbing information and soon her home problems start to affect her job. This leaves Angel no chose but to make the hard decision she has been avoiding. Will Angel do what is best for her and her son? Or will she settle for the same?

BeJeweled was a wonderful introduction to a lively set of characters in a salon where the readers experience will never be the same. This book was entertaining with drama, a little suspense and a hint of romance. The author does a wonderful job pulling the reader into the story to the point that you feel for Angel even though you want her to wake up. This was an exciting book to read and I look forward to the next book in the series. I recommend BeJeweled to others.
