Annie Brown’s Christians with Pervasive Issues starts off strong with a definition of the word “pervasive”. This definition is an attempt to set the tone for the rest of the book which deals with examples of some of the issues. The book attempts to detail the issues that prevent Christians from being effective members of the body of Christ. In addition to listing the issues, there are solutions that provide action steps for to help eliminate those issues.

The book was a quick read and had some thought provoking points. Unfortunately, the grammatical issues and lack of organizational structure distracted from the message of the book. With correction of the grammatical issues and a better organizational structure, this book has the potential to be an excellent road map for Christians who struggle with issues that keep them from leading effective lives.
