A child should bury their parents not the other way around. In Hitting Fear Head On by Biff and Laurie Boggs, Laurie and her son Preston were in a severe car crash. Preston did not make it but Laurie survived. Laurie shares with readers how this ordeal changed her life. Laurie also shares how her son Preston helped her recover, forgive and overcome the grief of him being gone.

Hitting Fear Head On was about loss and the stages a person goes through while grieving. Each person handles grief different and Laurie Boggs shares hers with readers. This was a sad book that will tug at reader’s hearts. It had a supernatural feel to it that could be uncomfortable at times but overall it’s worth reading. I applaud Biff and Laurie Boggs for sharing their story and all the hurt they have dealt throughout their lives.
