Michael Ward’s life is on the line in The Fall of the Prodigal by Michelle Lindo-Rice. Michael is still a narcissist with no worries in the world. When he is arrested, Michael must turn to the one person he knows can help him. Michael’s past discretions may harm him instead of helping him if he doesn’t learn how to forgive.

Keith Ward has forgiven his brother for the pain he caused. Keith just wants his brother back and when Michael comes to him for help, Keith, takes it as God answering his prayers. Keith agrees even though his wife believes it is a bad ideal. If this act of kindness helps his brother come back to him Keith doesn’t want to ignore it.

Verona Stachs is Michael’s attorney and has assisted him in all his endeavors whether good or bad. Verona can no longer hold back the love she has for Michael. She knows the person Michael is but will her love for him help Michael change? Verona soon finds out that her competition is back in the picture. Will Verona be up for the fight?

The Fall of the Prodigal is about family, secrets and lies but when God enters the fight there is no competition. This book had well-developed characters with a plot that has more twists and turns. It will keep readers on their toes while anticipating the characters next moves. This is by far my favorite book by this author. This book is entertaining, suspenseful with a clear Christian tone with a splash of drama. I definitely recommend this book to others.
