A new threat has made its way to Sugar Creek in Oven Baked Secrets by Tyora Moody. Eugeena Patterson is still on her mission to keep her neighborhood, Sugar Creek safe not letting any trouble get by her. When she finds out her friend’s son William has place Louise in a nursing home the neighborhood watch team takes a hit. Eugeena feels that something isn’t right and decides to investigate.

After putting Louise’s house on the market William meets a mysterious woman to show the house but something goes wrong. Eugeena takes her cue to represent her best friend and find out who is behind all of the nonsense.

Eugeena recruits her trusty neighbor, Amos Jones to assist her on solving the mystery by finding out who the mysterious woman could be and unravel the secrets that have been hidden.

Eugeena makes it hard to put her mysteries down once you have started the journey with her. Eugeena is a go getter for her age which draws the reader in because you know she has her neighbor’s best interests at heart. Oven Baked Secrets introduces new characters that fit right in the flow of the storyline by bringing new twists. I love this author’s style of mystery writing. I look forward to more books in the Eugeena Patterson Mystery series.
