Marta, Carrie and Jane are old friends living in separate areas of Edinburgh. All are dealing with life, family and relationships. It seems life turns out different for each one of them, but they all remain friends until… Tom enters the story and everything seems to break down. All three women are not aware that they are all connected to this man. When it is brought to the forefront when Marta allows Tom to stay at her home to get himself together.

It takes one man to open their eyes to see their friendship is not as ironclad as they believed. It seems a lot of secrets are revealed and Tom has a hand in it all. I can say it was fun to see how the women come together to fight against him. This was an interesting book even though it took me a little time to connect to the characters and the pace of the storyline. I recommend Between Friends to others and I look forward to trying some more of this author’s work.
