In this new series, A Chesterton Scandal, author Shelly Ellis introduces readers to the Murdoch family with all their drama, suspense and twist. Best Kept Secrets shares new characters, situations they find themselves in and their secrets. Mr and Mrs. Evan Murdoch have not been seeing eye to eye. Evan’s eyes are suddenly wide open when he catches his wife, Charisse in a compromising position. Leila could never believe her dream of having the love of her life would come true. She just has to decide if she is ready to go down that road.

Paulette Murdoch will try anything she can to keep her husband in the dark. When her secrets come back to bite she learns the hard way, what you do in the dark will soon come to light. Will she be able to handle her secrets stuff hitting the fan? Terence Murdoch is known as a ladies man whose money and body is leading him down a dangerous path. The Murdoch’s estrange brother Dante has some tricks up his sleeve and will do whatever it takes to get what he feels is due to him. He just has to get the right person on his side to carry out his plan.

The author does a wonderful job creating unique and well-developed characters. There is just enough drama and suspense but the twists and turns will keep you reading until the end. The Murdoch’s of Chesterton shocked me and had me wanting more. . I am so happy there are more books in this series.
