I Crumpled My Paper Now What? by Allison De Meulder is an unusual book about the author’s story on running her business, Invitations Consultants. She didn’t write an advice nor how-to book but a book sharing everything she did and didn’t do to secure the success of her business.
De Meulder admits to her failures, hiring the wrong people but also providing an enjoyable work environment. I loved her “Note to Self” sections in the book that encourages the rest of us entrepreneurs that we can learn from our mistakes. This is an easy book to read laced with authentic experiences from a business owner who has done it all. It is inspiring and motivation for anyone starting or already in business.
