Review of M C Domovitch’s Scar Tissue

Title: Scar Tissue

Author: M C Domovitch

Genre: Mystery, Psychological Thriller

Publication Date:  February 10, 2016

Rating: 4 Stars= Great Page Turner

In Scar Tissue by M C Domovitch, readers are introduced to Ciara Kelly, a model trying to escape for her attacker. She is almost run over by a couple who immediately get her help. Ciara wakes up from her coma with amnesia as she tries to piece her life back together. Ciara’s sister, Deidre is praying that she’ll be able to move pass the scars.

As the story moves along, Ciara tries to start over while living with her sister. She believes it is all behind her especially after she finds a new job and settles into a life without her boyfriend, Brent who can’t get over her new look and her agent Dominique who dropped her as a client. Ciara is in for a surprise because her attacker is not finished with her and will stop at nothing to finish what he started. Ciara still has to fight for her life.

Scar Tissue is a suspenseful mystery with a shocking twist. This book had well-developed characters that were easy to relate to especially Ciara. I enjoyed the list of suspects and was shocked when all was revealed. This book does have some graphic scenes but doesn’t take over the storyline. I do recommend Scar Tissue to others.
