If you are looking for a book that pushes buttons, Now That’s Just Stupid by Debra Taylor is one you should read. This book has eight sections, which holds a combination of sixty-four stories that touch on every issue the average person goes through. Taylor gives readers an invitation into her personal life with these stories, which share her pain, experiences, good and bad decisions as well as solutions to those decisions. She frees herself of all the baggage in order to reach her potential and hence step into her purpose.

I enjoyed this book because it is one woman stepping out on faith and standing in her truth with no regrets. She is a true example and is reaching out trying to help as many people as she can to do the same. The one thing I loved about the book is the issues it covers from dating, self-esteem, friendship, weight, family, loss and even marriage. The second thing I loved about the book was the end of chapter discussion, which tells you why our thought process is stupid then provides questions for you to answer. The questions help you dig deep within yourself to get to the root of your problems.

The third thing I loved about this book is the eye catching cover and it’s title. Both alone make you want to read this book. The last thing I loved about this book besides the emotions it pulled out of me, is the author’s courage to be a true open book, flaws and all. To be able to turn all her negative experiences into a positive platform to help others eliminate their baggage in order to do the same.

I definitely recommend this book to others who are struggling with life’s issues or those trying to find their purpose.
