Book Review: Any Day Now by Robyn Carr

Title: Any Day Now

Author: Robyn Carr

Rating: 4 Stars=Great Page Turner

Sierra Jones is starting over in Any Day Now by Robyn Carr. Sierra’s brother encourages her to come for a visit to Sullivan Crossing for a new start. She will be able to meet his new wife and the people of Crossing, a place where building a foundation is expected. Sierra agrees that a visit may be a nice new beginning on her path of reclaiming her life.

After arriving, she meets Sully, the campground owner and they form a friendship. Whenever things seem to be going well for Sierra, the past interrupts her future. She isn’t giving up especially after meeting, Connie, a man who could possibly be the much needed change she has been waiting on.

I enjoyed taking the journey with Sierra as she worked through her past issues. It was also enjoyable to meet the characters of Sullivan Crossing. I loved how Sierra came to realize just how important her family is to her. This was a well-written story with wonderful characters, well thought out plot and the setting made me want to visit the Crossings. This book had a great message about recovery, family and learning to accept love again. I recommend Any Day Now to others.
