Book Review: Never Trust A Stranger by Mary Monroe

Title: Never Trust A Stranger

Author: Mary Monroe

Rating: 3 Stars=Okay Page Turner

In this third installment of the Lonely Heart, Deadly Heart Series, Never Trust a Stranger by Mary Monroe, Lola Poole and Joan Proctor-Riley are still up to their same old tricks. Both have gotten used to dating wealthy old men to fulfill their lives that they forget to pay attention to their surroundings. The signs are there for Lola, but it may be too late.

Having read the previous books in this series, I can say that I’ve still not connected with these characters, their thought process or their ideal of relationships. I’m not sure how the author plans to upgrade these characters in the next book, but I’ll give it a try. This writing style seems a bit different from this author’s previous writings.
