Life changes for Cassie after she helps a woman being attached on the side of the road. She feels her life may be in danger but that is not all, her husband disappears. She wants to find him. This takes her on a journey where she learns everything her husband has been keeping from her.
I enjoyed the book but it was slow to pick up and didn’t have much of a thrilling aspect for me. I was invested in Cassie because I wanted her to find her spouse. The secrets he was keeping were not exciting but fit well in the story. The actions of the supportive characters twisted well with the main character and how it affected Cassie’s life.
Overall, it was an okay read for me and i will read more of her work.
